Step 1: Brush Off Debris

Let the grass stain dry completely first, then use a stiff brush to remove any dried grass or dirt. This prevents spreading during washing.

Step 2: Apply White Vinegar

Pour white vinegar directly onto the stain and let it soak for 5 minutes. Vinegar helps break down the chlorophyll in grass stains.

Step 3: Apply Dish Soap

Add a few drops of dish soap to the vinegar-soaked area. Gently scrub with an old toothbrush in a circular motion for 2–3 minutes.

Step 4: Rinse and Wash

Rinse with cold water, then wash on a cold cycle. Check the stain before drying — repeat treatment if needed.

Step 5: Special Care for Silk

Before any treatment, test your cleaning solution on a hidden seam. Blot only — never scrub. After treatment, rinse with cold water and roll in a clean towel to absorb moisture. Lay flat to dry away from sunlight.

Silk is extremely delicate. Never rub, wring, or use alkaline cleaners. Even water can leave marks if not treated carefully — always blot and air dry flat. Avoid all alcohol-based cleaners, bleach, and enzyme detergents — they will permanently damage silk fibres.
